Bio

Jason Turner is a Jackson, Mississippi native and has been performing on stages across the Southeast for over 19 years. He has toured extensively, performing over 200 shows a year in cities like New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Nashville. In 2011 Turner won the CSpire battle of the Bands and opened for Jake Owen and the Avett Brothers at Bulldog Bash in front of 30000 people. Later that year he was featured in CSpires South by Southwest showcase in Austin, Tx. In 2012 Turner was featured on the Oxford Sounds TV show alongside the North Mississippi Allstars, Jimbo Mathis, Carey Hudson, Charlie Mars and many others. Turner has shared the stage w/ Robert Randolf, Violent FemmesTim Reynolds of Dave Matthews Band, Blessed Union of Souls, Mike Tramp of White Lion, Ingram Hill, Josh Kelly, David Cook (American Idol winner), Tantric, Crossfade and Lillian Axe. Turner has also won over 30 Best of Jackson Awards, including the 2016 awards for Best Rock Artist/Band and Best Singer.
 
He is preparing to release his Seventh album Reset on Old Trace Records. Jason writes all of his own songs and draws his lyrics from his personal life. His stage show was a major influence on the creative process. The project was recorded using a live sound aesthetic to give listeners the sonic experience of attending his concerts. 

Reset is scheduled to be released on December 2nd.
